Rev. Kevin G. Yell, originally from the United Kingdom, is a minister with the American Catholic Church, which is independent from the Roman Church and able to be much more flexible as a result. He is also an author, playwright, performer, and director.
He believes that humanity is called as the adopted Children of God to reflect our Creator’s own nature as tellers of true stories, and makers of beauty and meaning. Like children, we are called to trust God’s loving parental care for us.
Kevin’s life-long ministry has been about helping individuals and churches nurture these innate realities in their lives and worship, bringing to their communities and neighborhoods their individual and collective abilities to reflect God’s light, humor and justice in the world. He is the author of Acts of Salvation (8 Plays for Lent and Advent) and recently Keeping the Ink Wet. His drama pieces include Vexilla Regis, (for St. Paul’s Cathedral in London,) Gate 13, Entanglement, and Can’t Say I Do.
