Nancy Eckerd, MS, RN, is an adjunct nursing professor and published author who serves and organizes both domestic and international medical mission, including Africa, Azerbaijan, Asia, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and the Republic of Georgia She began her career as an oncology nurse, and continues mentoring nurses. Nancy has served on pregnancy resource center boards, providing ultrasounds for at-risk women, and is involved with Missions.me's Medical Advisory Committee and Collective Mercy, Inc.'s Board of Directors.
Her peer-reviewed works include Nursing for the Kingdom of God and the Agape Nursing Model, published in the Journal of Christian Nursing. These guide Kingdom Nurses to excel and serve with God as an offering of gratitude. The Agape Nursing Model is part of several nursing college curricula and featured in the textbook Nursing as Ministry by Jones & Bartlett, focusing on Christian caregiving.
